Hi everyone,

Sorry for not updating, but I've had trouble connecting to the internet during my stay here in Singapore. I only have limited time now as well, so this will only be a short update.

I played a young guy from Thailand in the first round of the qualififers on tuesday. He is a very talented player, which he proved at Thomas Cup by beating Taufik Hidayat.

We had good fight, even if the play wasn't the best ever, but unfortunately he came out as the winner in the end.

Of course I'm a little disappointed I only got 1 match at this years Singapore Open, but I remain positive and I'm confident I will perform a lot better next week at Indonesia Open in Jakarta.

I had a great experience in Jakarta last year, so I'm really looking forward to go back there. The spectators were just fantastic last year, so I hope to feel their support again this year.

I hope to get a better internetconnection at the hotel in Indonesia, so I can update more frequently.
